Meet Weston Norton

Weston is 8 years old, he’s in the second
grade and lives in Sandwich Massachusetts
at Star Stables with his Father, Russell Norton, Mother. Jessica Hayes and Sister Julianna Norton.
Weston has three horses he rides, Sensational Me (Beetz), Imagine I’ll Be Dancin (Image) and his reiner Painted By Starlight,
Weston also has 7 mini horses that are pets.
Weston started riding when he was three and started showing horses in lead line at years old. Weston works with three trainers Amanda Wass,  Paige Benson and Dan Sanborn. Weston shows avidly at New England Pinto and will be Attending his first reining show at Patriot Reining Show, His other hobbies include his I-pad, riding his four wheeler and fresh water fishing.
When I asked Weston what his favorite class is he thought about it and said “Trail Class”.
I also asked Weston what he’d like to be when he grows up He replied “a trainer”.

Meet Nevaeh Smeeton-Cormier

Nevaeh is 13 years old and is in
the 8th grade. She lives in
Lebanon Maine with her family,
Father Ken Cormier,
Mother Tracy Smeeton,
Nevaeh has four brothers,
Nolan, Nathan and Nicolas Smeeton
and Noah Smeeton-Cormier.
Nevaeh has three horses, Hot For An Invite
(Dallas) which is her show horse and is
Boarded with her trainer Haley Paradise
owner of Paradise Performance Horses
In Dover New Hampshire. She also owns
a POA named Isaah and
Mini named Daisey,
Three dogs and two cats.
Nevaeh has been showing for two years,
she said her Mom is her inspiration, she
used to train horses when she was younger.
Nevaeh really enjoys going to horse shows,
her favorite class is trail, she likes
doing the obstacles,
When I asked Nevaeh what she’d like
to be when she’s grown she told me
an Olympic Jumper, she said that
Phillip Dutton is her favorite.
Nevaeh is looking forward to going
to the Pinto and Paint World Shows
and would like to also go to the
Quarter Horse Congress one day.

Meet Kaylee Paul

Kaylee is in the 11 years old and in the 6th. Grade and attends
Algonquin Middle School in Sand Lake New York.

Kailey has been riding horses since she was 5                                                                and has prior to her involvement with New      England Pinto has shown in equitation and     hunter rings where she is currently competing at the 2ft. level

She lives with he Father Scott, Mother Donna and has a Brother David and a Sister Stephanie in West Sand Lake New York. The family has two cats, Woody and Cleo and a dog named Pudg.

This is Kaylee’s first year showing with New England Pinto, she has been showing her pony Personally Mine (Roxy) and also shows at New England Professional Horseman’s  Association as a Junior Member.

Kailey also rides with the Emily Eckstrom                 Equine Foundation and currently rides and shows two other Ponies named Carmen and Mango. Last year Kailey was the Champion of the Novice Hunter Division on Roxy, and was second in her Medal Class and third over all on Roxy in the 2ft. Pre-Children/Adult Division for Equitation.

    

 

 

 

 

When I asked Kaylee what her hobbies were they included of course horses,Tap, Jazz and Ballet she also collects Breyer Horses and has attended the Breyer Fest at the Kentucky Horse Park, while in Kentucky she was fortunate to meet California Chrome .

When I asked Kaylee what she’d like to be when she grows up she replied “a professional rider, hunter jumper or a Marine Biologist.

As you can probably tell her favorite classes are Jumping Classes and she enjoys riding for the experience.
